Does anyone know how wide the stock wheel is on the 05 300c awd version? is it in fact 18x8" ? And if so, would a 255/50/18 fit comfortably under the wheel well and onto the stock awd rims. Im trying to get the widest tire i can without losing too much height to fill though massive wheel wells out as much as possible. I have a diablo tuner for the new tire size so the speedo being off is not a problem.

255 is about the widest on an 8". You can go to tirerack.com and enter choice tire sizes then goto brand specs and it will give rim width options.

You could get a 7, 8, 8.5 & 9 inch wide wheel with the AWD C.

It depended on the stock tire size and wheel option the car was built with.

255/55s here. That's a pinch taller than a 50. Should work fine.
