Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to stop the Traffic Anouncement cutting in on My Gig??

Have looked through the manuals but still can't stop it and its driving me Nuts!!!

Car is 2008 300C done 3000 MILES

I don't have the my gig system, but I do have the 2008 standard model, on mine you press the set up button, and scroll through until you find ta and select off, hope this is of some help

Yep, turn off TA in the appropriate radio menu and all should be sweetness and light....

On a previous car I had the Trafficmaster Oracle system as well as the TA system on the radio. The only way to shut Trafficmaster up was to disconnect the battery - it even turned the radio on if you didn't have it on already ! :scared:

Taffic anouncement on my gig

Thanks for your help, unfortunately My Gig does not have a facility to turn it off in the set up or radio menus, the Sat Nav has TMC which issues readable traffic warnings but even with this switched off the TA still cuts in!!

Hi,

In radio mode, select Menu hard key and the RDS Settings soft key. Under here is an option for Traffic Programme - uncheck this and it should have the desired result.
