Tranny TSB

I normally don't put in my two cents, but I thought everyone needed to here my experience. Two weeks ago I stopped by my dealer to inquire about the erratic shifting of my trans, and the TSB found on this sight. At first he said he had not heard of it, but then checked, and it had just come out that day. I said we would look at it at the first oil change which I had planned for the following week. After stopping by a few days later he mentioned one of his techs had retuned from school, and had inquired about this TSB for me. They explained to him the procedure of draining the tranny fluid, refilling, driving, repeat several times, and that he should just do it. Keep in mind I did not have any of the shuttering or vibration some of you had. It just shifted funny some times.

I took it in for the oil change today (brought my own Mobile One) 2,890 miles.
They did the TSB and found a shot glass size amount of water in the pan. :(
He checked the seal on the filler tube and said it was seated properly. So my question was where did the water come from? Will it happen again? We will check again at the next oil change.

It did drive like a diff. car after the TSB. It shifted crisp and smooth and felt like it pulled harder. I think this should be a recall if I had water in the trans, and the seal is seated properly. My recommendation to everyone is to get it checked out, and I sure am glad I have a 05 w/ the 7/70 power train warranty.
