Welcome to the forum. On a fluid/filter change, there is no "set" amount of fluid that it takes, as it depends on how much has drained back from the torque converter, and what the fluid level was before you dropped the pan. The easiest thing to do i measure the amount of fluid you remove from it and, when servicing after putting it back together, start with about a half quart or so less than you took out. I am not sure if your 2014 has a dipstick, but if it doesn't, you MUST use the correct fluid (ATF+4) and the correct method for insuring the fluid level is correct. It is outlined in the Factory Service Manual (FSM) and would require an aftermarket dipstick of some sort marked in 5 mm increments, a way of reading the fluid temperature in real time, and the fluid level to fluid temperature chart in the FSM. For a dipstick, I use a 36 in. white zip tie marked in 5 mm increments with a magic marker because it's easier to read (especially with new fluid) than the aftermarket ones that are available. If you're planning to keep the vehicle and the pan doesn't have a drain plug, I'd pick one of those up too, as it makes the job a whole lot cleaner. Dorman has them for about $30 or less. I have them on all three of my Hemi vehicles.

Good luck and keep us posted on how you do.
