I might be wrong but with fuel injection how can it give you a better flue air mix. When the fuel is injected right at the intake of the heads . Now if you where replacing a carb with the throttle body injection system then you get a better air fuel mix. Thats the way I look at it I hope this helps in some small way. :)

Anybody using one on thier C?
Pros & Cons please.
Who makes a good one (if any benefit)?
The throttle body on the Hemi is huge. Several have put spacers on and reported no improvement - other than a very annoying whistle.

We used to use them on older, small engines years ago - not much point on the current designs.

The whistle it provides has to be the single most annoying thing I have ever heard... I had it on my Expedition for 1 day before I removed it.

Its a cousin to the tribble. (I'm not a Trekkie, by the way). You gotta keep them suckers away from your car or they get sucked in the intake, hence the spacer.

It's also known as an air leak. :) No air leak, no whistle. ;)

But - a distant cousin to the Tribble.

You want to keep those nasty Trottles away from your 300C, especially if it is spaced out ... They make a deep whistling noise when very close.

Be afraid,

Be very afraid . . .
