there are two holes underneath it. If you take it off you would need body work to fill in the hole

It has been done. If you do a search for "trunk" you should find the info. I recall seeing pictures of a C and a Mag with the emblem removed and holes filled.

I hate to be the guy who says "use the search feature" but....

You don't have to fill them. I found a couple of plugs that I made fit. Most people don't even think twice when they see the trunk. One person told me, when pressed on his thoughts, said he thought it was factory. Unless your a Chrysler owner, you probably wouldn't know. Cecil...........

Did you take it to the body shop? What did they charge?

ehhh I really notice the plugs. I am planning on removing mine. I will be having a body shop do it the right way by filling in the holes and painting.

I don't know if you have OSH in your area, but it's a large hardware store and they carry several things. I just found a couple of rubber plugs of various sizes and gave them a try. Someday I plan to fill the plugs and do it the right way, but for now and only about $3. I don't think they look bad. If you don't like the look, then don't do it. I'm happy with them, but not everyone will be. Cecil..........
