I've seen drag cars run no intercooler n also street cars also but we all see ones with intercoolers. My question is can I run without one? Idk if the air temps will get his to pre detonation. But it will be a short distance n the turbo will be out the hood to will it matter. N will their be a performance difference. Tell me why I should do either over the other. I wanna do intercooler but if no IC is ok n safe I'll do that n I'll be doing meth injection

Not a good idea. You'll burn a valve or have very high EGT's which will burn down the car. You NEED an intercooler.
