I've got this weird problem. Yesterday i pulled a trailer with my car for the first time and it started acting up. The turn signals were twice as fast. I unplugged it and removed the adapter i had to use to connect it with, but the problem is still there. The weird thing is this, when you first start the car and flick the the turn handle it blinks at normal rate for like 5secs and then its twice the rate again. This goes for both sides. No bulbs broken either.

So it went into "hyperflash" with the additional load on it, which is understandable.

What is this "adapter" you are referring to?

Once the additional load was removed from the circuit the blink rate should have returned to Normal.
