thanks,

JonW said:$200 sounds like a pretty good deal for those capable of opening their NAV unit to do the soldering. I might have to look at this to integrate with my CANBUS AUX adapter I'm building. I could enable selecting DVD display and audio right from the steering wheel - that would be sweet!
Dom 2 FYI's -
1. The forum here will frown upon your promoting items to sell unless you are a supporting vendor. (sounds like they might have room to promote another NAV/DVD vendor though...)
2. You may want to clean up the test posting on your website's forum - it doesn't give a professional impression.
Ohh man, how's that... fully integrated with steering wheel controls.. hmmmm. I'm going to wait to see what Jon has up his sleeve before I go with this.JonW said:$200 sounds like a pretty good deal for those capable of opening their NAV unit to do the soldering. HaTaX said:Dominic,VERY interested at the $200 price tag... How many leads need to be soldered? Under 10? If you have done of the the REC units before, did you take a picture? If so I'd like to ask you to email it to me so I can see where it needs to be done... Have done quite a bit of solder work before and would just like to take a peek at it.
Thanks! If it looks good, you'll get an order from me right away!

JonW said:I spoke with Dominic and I'm getting one of his units for testing. I'll see what it takes to get this into production as an integrated CANBUS device to be controlled directly from the factory controls. Stay tuned!
I'm also receiving a Chrysler VES unit this week for testing so I should have no problems creating a device to emulate the VES unit. Although I bought this device to do the testing, I should mention that member "BO's RT" sent me a message this weekend willing to ship me his VES unit for testing and development. How's that for member support! Thanks Bo!
