I have an 05 300C.
My 2 part question: i have the 8 speaker SG II system, no Nav. I am replacing the 2 rear speakers with Infinity Kappa 693.7i and want to run them with an Infinity 475A amp. What do i need to get to use the signal from the rear speaker feeds.

Question Part two: I am going to get a
Kenwood DNX7120 Nav head unit to replace the RAQ stock head unit (when i get the cash), how can i use it and keep my steering wheel controls. can I run it through the stock amp for the dash and door speakers, and use the Infinity amp for the rear speakers. Is this able to be done. it is a bit confusing for me now...

thanks

OK, here goes:

#1

Just a question....why only amplifying the rear speakers?

you just need a simple LOC tapped at the rear speakers to get
a signal.

#2

You have a 2008 right?

PAC products as listed below

C2R-CHY2 (for your kenwood head)
SWI-CAN2 (steering wheel interface for the car)
SWI-JACK (interface output from SWI-CAN2 into commands your Kenwood will understand)

I'd like to add, the following:

If you replace the stock head, you can do as follows:

1. connect the front speaker outputs from the kenwood to the
wiring that goes to the stock amp (easy to do since you will
be using the adapters from PAC).

2. connect an RCA cable to the rear pre-out on the kenwood and
run it to your new amp that you are running the rear speakers with.

No, I have a 2005, not a 2008, is the equipment list the same for question #2? also, which LOC is recommended?

for a 2005 just take the 2 off the end of the pieces.

C2R-CHY
SWI-CAN
SWI-JACK

Those are for a 2005 model.

Since all of the above come from PAC, try one of the following for a LOC:

SNI-35 (that's what I'm using)

Trunk-LOC (which is overkill if you plan on using the kenwood later)
