Does anyone know what type of bulb the 300C has so I know what type of HID conversion kit i should buy? If it's a 9006 or 9007?

The 300C Hemi has a hard to find low beam bulb called 9006XS. Not the same as the 9006. You will not find a conversion for the 9006XS.

I just bought the sylvania silverstar highs and lows. The high beams have a 90 degree connector, while the low beam has a straight connector. I found them at the auto barn web sight for $94. with tax and shipping.
Dont you hate new versions of light bulbs :( I had the same problem with my JDM projectors for the Mazda, low beam was H3C, not sold in the US until recently.

Don't worry, it won't be long before someone makes a modified kit for the low beam.

Foam... do you mind taking a picture of your high beam maybe one original and one replacement? I must say witht he HID, its sucks flashing the yellow highs...
I purchased a set of 9006 McCulloch hella hid kit and for some reason the hid kits dont agree with my car, I had to install rellays and then they still flickered because appearantly the 300c's give out only 9volts to the light bulbs and when it goes slightly bellow that it is going to flicker... The only way around this problem was to install a low voltage relay which i guess converts the 9v to a 12v...

They were shipped today ups, may take 5-7 days to get them. When they come in I'll give it a try, haven't posted a picture yet but it's time to learn!!!

Got the silverstars in tonight, 7:15 PM U.P.S delivery. I put the passenger side in, both high and low beams. No problems with the installation. But I learned that if you drop the little blue clip in the engine compartment at night, it can be a pain to find!. I only did one side so that I could turn them on to see as well as take pictures of the difference. As luck would have it my batteries were dead in the camera. I will try again tomorrow night. I will say this, Both high and low beams are whiter then stock bulbs.
The jury is still out as far as being able to see better with them. I drove around with them in the passenger side, and stock on the other. Can not make a judgement yet I'll have to put both sides in.

I did the silver stars about 1000 miles ago...Contrary to what some others have said--I am still very disappointed with headlights---sometimes I can't even see in front of me---(also had alignment adjusted)

Do you have a C with projectors, or the regular headlight assembly? HID has projectors too, but a C with halogens also has the projector system. Sstars in those are very nice.

Last night I took some photos of the sylvania silverstars installed in the passenger side of my 300c. The stock halogen projecter bulbs are in the drivers side. The first picture is low beams, the second is high beams, and the third is low beams against a fence to see the color differance. They are whiter then stock, But I do not think that they improve visibility at all!

I Bought My Silverstars On E-Bay

I believe my 2004 Grand Cherokee also takes the 9006XS. I bought my low-beam bulbs on E-Bay for $26.00 a pair and were an exact match. The silverstar number is 9006XSST. The big plus with these bulbs is the way they illuminate signs in the distance over the halogens also the whiter color gives better depth perception.
I bought a set of Silverstars for my sister's 98 Caravan which I drove over Thanksgiving, I could barely see at night with the stocks. I wonder if this is a Chrysler problem, I remember a few yrs ago C&D referred to Sebring lights as "dim witted". I mailed the Silvers to my sister and hope for better night visibility for the safety of her family. I put a set of Kyoto Whitebeams in a 92 Park Ave and was pleased. You guys who have stock bulbs and are not pleased, have you considered a higher watt non DOT bulb. The limit with Silverstars, Kyoto and other DOT bulbs is they are all 55/65 watts. To get more light (not just white which can help) you need more watts.

I don't really see too much different maybe the pics are too small to tell the difference? I wonder how it looks in person.. Anyway one of my boys told me that an HID conversion kit for the C will come out around May so I can get a 8000k bulb.. I think i'll wait around for that..

when on the autobarn site, click on the sylvania silverstar high performance halogen headlight bulb. A screan comes up with it. Click on applications and pick 9005 bulb (#syl9005st). Don't forget to print out the $5 rebate per pair.
