I have the K&N drop in filter and was wondering if i will reap any benefit with one of the typhoon type filters? tia.

From what I have read...Nothing really gained from ANY of them.Looks only.
I too,have the dropin K&N,I modified the airbox,and it works great. SAVE your $$$

Hello Jimmy,

I have heard similar results from the K&N, and Airaid quick fit system (little to no gains felt). I have yet to see any dyno sheets with the Mopar setup so I cannot provide any insight or numbers on HP/Torque gains it yields. However, I can provide dyno sheets on the Volant cold air setup. If you would like them to be posted just let me know. Keep this in mind, well over 95% of the people who make perf. mods. to their vehicles make no attempt to get their vehicles dyno'd b4 and after the addition of their mods., thus eliminating the chance of getting an accurate performance gain (HP/Torque)from the product. Also, most people cannot tell their vehicle has had an increase in HP until around 10HP.
