I have a 2019 300 with the Uconnect 4C. Was wondering if anyone knows how to get to the engineering menu. The dealer menu just has 3 options. Would like to restore to factory defaults

That's too easy as I saw the procedure on one of many youtube vids. Unfortunately, I found out that none of the 'soft reset' recommendations worked so I phoned UConnect to get the correct procedure for my car. You should probably do the same.

Keep in mind my 2020 300s is equipped with the Panasonic - Alpine UConnect 8.4 w/Nav system.


ACC on - Doors closed - UConnect Off

Depress the VR and Green button simultaneously for at least 30 seconds

Turn car completely off - wait for all systems to shut down, usually takes several seconds

Open driver's door for at least 30 seconds before reclosing

UConnect soft reset complete.


Hard Reset is in the menu - I've never had to use it. I was frustrated recently with the voice command function on both of my vehicles - Navigation couldn't find the street. Turned out I was mispronouncing the name.
