I've had my 300 for about 5 days now and have my phone semi-sort-of working with the UConnect.

What is the other button for on the rearview monitor? There is the UConnect button with the picture of the U and a phone. The one I can't figure out is the one of the person's head with the 'speaking' symbol by it. It doesn't seem to do anything.

The other button doesn't do anything unless the phone is in use. It allows you to send commands during a call or to interupt the prompts. For example, when you use a voice command to initiate a call, it prompts you several times before it actually dials. You can press the other button to interupt the prompts to speed things up.

The other thing the voice button is used for is sending commands during a call....such as voice mail or menu systems. When you call someone and it says "Press 1 for customer service"....you can hit the voice button and say "One, send" and it acts as though you hit the "1" button on your phone handset.
