Does anyone know how much the dealer sells 300C tail lights for? I have a Touring and was thinking about upgrading to the "C" tail lights because I like the way they look better at night. If I did this, would I have to change anything else or is just the lense enough? Do the Touring bulbs fit into the C lenses? Any thoughts?

Not sure about these, but I paid over $200 for a set of 2001+ taillights for a 300M to upgrade those on my 99.

Over at the 300M Club, we use this dealership for discounts. He wants to begin offering discounts here as well. Give him a call and see if he can get you a good price on the 300C tails.

hey, i bought mine from mopar super center and the lights already comes with the bulbs, so you should not have to worry about that. i bought mine back in december for 175 bucks, but i think that they may be 190-ish now from mopar supercenter. i highly recommend them because there is extremely fast shipping and they give great deals.

Ok cool, thanks. So the actual wiring harness behind the lense is the same for the Touring and the C? From the outside it looks like the C tail lights have more bulbs than the Touring ones.

And are these the right ones (taken from moparsupercenter)?:

4805852AC Taillight Assembly, RH (300C) $99.37
4805853AC Taillight Assembly, LH (300C) $101.87

Why is the left hand side more than the right hand side?

...as that's what I also have.

Although the Touring's taillamp wiring schematic is slightly different than that of the 300C, you can still utilize the C's taillamp assemblies. Everything functions as it should, but the turn-signal bulbs emit a steady stream of light when the brake pedal is depressed, yet will function 'normally' when the turn-signals are activated.

I originally had the amber bulbs which looked out of place when the brake pedal was depressed, but the red bulbs look much better and are much more appropriate. :fing02:

Note:

BTW, Dave's (ink) efforts pioneered the 300C vs. Touring conversion (including headlights, taillamps, fog lights, and swapping front/rear fascias). He was also the second to have the 3.5L V6 single exhaust converted to a 'Zoomers' custom dual exhaust system by Arlasky Performance, Inc. Dave's car looked great and was very unique at the time...early half of '05. I haven't seen nor heard from him in over a year now, but I do hope that he is doing well.

300C Tail lights

I will sell mine for $150 for the pair. They are off of my new SRT-8, bought July 2006. I just replaced them with the smoked LED's. I was going to list them on eBay, but this could work too.
Add $10 for shipping in USA.
PM me if you are interested.
