I have a 2007 SRT8 with 108k miles on it. I drive this as a manual 90% of the time. Recently I noticed that it won't upshift on demand. If I press the shifter left, it immediately downshifts, if I press it right, most of the time it won't upshift. I either press it multiple times or hold it until it goes into Drive. Normal driving or aggressive driving exhibits the same behavior. I first that that it was a switch issue, but I discounted that because I can still shift into drive if I hold it to the right.

My mechanic said there are no error codes, and I don't have any engine mods.

I'm going to do the PCM reset, but has anyone seen this issue before?

Thread moved. I suspect that the upshift switch or contacts are bad or dirty.
