Okay so i have been reading about vibrations people experience with the car. The vibration comes in through the body of the car and people think it is related to MDS. My car is a 300c and now has 21K miles on it. Yes i'm the guy that started the thread about a 300c with 14K miles. Now it has 21K miles.

The vibration is gone. There are most likely two reasons, one the mileage has increased so the car has "broken in" even more. I did notice the vibration reduce as the K's of miles piled on.

Secondly i switched to mobil 1 synthetic. Prior to this i was using Valvoline synthetic, which still had the vibration. But having gone to mobile 1 there is absolutely no buzzing in the body at any speed. I am using 5w-20 synthetic.

I would recommend people wait until the car has substantial miles and see if that takes care of the buzzing in the body. You could also switch over to mobil 1 and that might have been the difference maker. But both adjustments will/should eliminate this problem.

Hope this helps.

Funny thing happened yesterday, I thought mine was gone but alas, it was not. It seems less severe and is occurring at about 53 rather than 56. Now I have 6600 miles. I don't think this is at all related to the brand of oil. You are right give it time (what else you gonna do since DC can't fix it). I think whatever was in your tranny that was vibrating finally wore down to a nub after 21K and stopped vibrating. If I am right, I see a new tranny in your future 6-7K from now. (lets hope I'm wrong).Might also be the exhaust as several have suggested, I have not heard any Borla converts who had the vib go away though I don't know if they had it to start with.
