The beastie has just passed it's MOT again with no advisories except to replace the rear Dunlop Kojaks ASAP.
I don't remember lending it to Pat London for burnouts!:arms:
Pleased as punch as it's now got 120K on the clock and it still brings a smile to my face.

Congrats! Bodes well for cars of our vintage. Currently, I have a 100% MOT success rate, but then only 34K on the clock. I can recommend a good tyre shop in Newbury.

That's the whole purpose of mot. Check the car before , maintain throughout the year and all will be fine.

The OP must use the park brake, many don't, it seizes up, and it's a MOT failure and a sod to fix.

Emissions catch many out too, not much you can do to check it except regular servicing.

Cleaned and adjusted the parking brakes a month ago. I usually drive a short way with the parking brake on lightly once a fortnight, just to clear any surface rust.
I was worried about the emissions but the tester was amazed that hardly anything came out the back even when revving it.
