notice a small puddle & dripping liquid underneath my car.

can't see where it is coming from, but it is to the rear of the side HEMI signs, and more towards the right (passenger) side of the car.

liquid is clear & looks like water.

the kid's diaper didn't leak, and the cat wasn't near the car.

i did use the a/c earlier in the day (but not in the last 3 or 4 hours) - is this simple condensation - or is this something to be looked at?

I would say it is condensation but, did you just get out of the car after it was running?

Unless it's colored, I would not worry, modern systems routinely drip condensation out from the A/C, even if you didn't select it. defrost, for instance, uses it to dehumidify the air.

I also get water under the car after running the A/C. Puddle is about 3 to 4 inches wide. My Pontiac Bonneville did the same thing. Should be normal.

Since you live in LA, temperatures lately have been in the 100's. You turn on your a/c and notice spots of water on the floor. This is caused by condensation of the ac unit. I live south of you where the temperature is currently about 115, but no water spots because it is dry heat. You have humidity and heat and voila, condensation on the ac unit appears. It is normal... :banana: :banana: :banana:

You might want to worry if you DON'T see a puddle. It could be leaking into the trans. :dunno:
