man today i was behind this ...well anyway..i slaped the shifter one time and gave it some gas it took off like a rocket..as i looked at the evc it had switched frome drive to 3rd in one slap.wooohoo..on the "c" i woulda had to hit the stick twice..so then i tried it again at 65 and when i slaped it it went into 4th and rocketed away ..this thing decides on wich is the best gear to be in...waaay cool!

I believe the way it works, from my experience so far, is that it will downshift once from whatever gear you are in at the moment. If you hit it once and it went into 3rd gear, then you were probably in 4th at the time, but nothing tells you that when you are in OverDrive. When going at higher speeds, 65+, it downshifts into 4th because you are already in 5th/OverDrive.

i believe it all depends on how long u slap the stick, it will shift into the lowest possible gear without over revving if u hold it long enough!!
