Some people find this to be a problem but we do what we can to make sure your credit card is secure so you won't have to go through the hassle of fraudulent credit card charges. We will only ship to the billing address for your credit card unless you have an alternate address listed with them. This is very easy to do. You just have to give the credit card company a call and have the representitive list the alternate shipping address in the Notes Field. This doesn't change where your bill goes. It just shows that you have authorized products to be sent to that address. We'll then need the customer service number off of the back of the card to confirm this. You'll be all set from there!

Shipping somewhere else without doing this might not seem like a big deal but our policy has stopped all credit card fraud here. We even had a fraudulent order goto a lawyers office before we started doing this.

Have a good day!

Yes, definetly use your credit card with any purchases from TByrne Motorsports. That way, if they make material misrepresentations regarding a transaction, your credit card company will ensure you get a full refund.

I speak from experience.

The credit card company actually ruled in our favor. They found that we were right with your transaction.

Don't be too quick to claim victory TByrne. Check with Carol on Monday. You will find your business account was deducted the $128 you attempted not to refund. So the credit card company ruled in my favor - which I new would be the result given the circumstances. And this is the case despite your efforts to change the text of your online order form after-the-fact to support your position. Sneaky, sneaky . . . .

But I do agree with you on one point, for the good of this forum, I do suggest we let sleeping dogs lie. I don't particularly enjoy keeping the record straight and making sure you don't distort the facts surrounding this whole affair. And it can't be good for your business . . . .

So, I invite you to leave well enough alone. I am certainly ready to.

While I appreciate the fact that you are trying to subtly inform others of a bad experience on your part with this vendor, and if what you say is true, then I agree that they "should" be called out...let's call a "spade" a "spade" here.

The fact that you came here to specifically make your original post in this thread which is six months old belies your statement that you are wanting to "leave well enough alone."

I would say your intention was quite the opposite.

I had the paperwork pulled this morning and see that the credit card company ruled in our favor. The processing fee from when you canceled the group purchase order does apply so we received the money that we were supposed to.

Remember, the Admin has asked you to take this matter private if you wish to continue this conversation -

And I was so hopeful!

This is Tbyrne's thread in Tbyrne's forum, not your arena for personal and/or private matters. Please wage your battles via PM.
