Recently, I noticed that when any of my warning chimes, such as fasten seat belts goes off, there is also a corresponding, how can I say, muted sound coming from the dash. The sound appears to be coming from a different area than the regular chime.

Has anyone else had this?

well i had something like that..thats was one of the reasons i am in the process of the lemon law..but i found out what my bell was.it was the e-brake weird every time i started my car it would ding ding i would then look around for a warning light and saw nothing but after i pulled on the release handle and truned car off and re started it again it didnt do it.maybe you'r haveing the same problem as i am.if so i hate to say it there is NO fix for this as of yet.let me ask you something when you drive down your street do you hear a swoosh swoosh swoosh noise comming from your rear end off the car?if you havent noticed it, open your door slightly when your drivingg down your street kinda stick your head out the door and listen if you hear the noise then your first stop should be the dealership!they tried to fix my noise 5 times with NO success they are actualy going to replace my C with a srt but ill have to pay the difference.but only bad thing is my build date is set for apr15.so will see but gl and i hope you dont hear that noise..keep it real.. herbs

Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. I have it and find it weird, except its not all the time. I did notice that I happen to get it when its cold, maybe something to do with the speaker or whatever is giving the chime being cold...

Can't be the cold. It only started several days ago. The temps. have been in the 40's, thank god there heading in the right direction.

I have an appt. with the dealer on Monday for oil change, tire rotation, etc. I was just curious if anyone new what the problem is.
