The aftermarket ones are larger in diameter than the stock factory ones. ThisWhats the difference between factory and aftermarket sway bars?

I had the polyurethane bushings in my vette. They do make the car stiffer, but it does come with a price. After a month or so they will start to squeak. I would have to regrease them every month or so..CJ7VFR said:The aftermarket ones are larger in diameter than the stock factory ones. This

Also, the aftermarket bars will come with polyurethane bushings which
are stiffer, and have less flex than the stock rubber bushings in the swaybar
mounting locations.

Not to mention the bone-jarring ride they instill - still, you can corner better (in a Viper).rmedina said:....polyurethane bushings,..,. They do make the car stiffer, but it does come with a price. After a month or so they will start to squeak. I would have to regrease them every month or so..
