So we all know about the "What have you blown away thread". Now admit it, at least most of us has raced someone we either new beforehand or afterwards that we bit off more than we could chew. I want to see what kinds of cars people have lost to. I also want to know what cars to avoid trying to race so I can keep my dignity by not racing.

I'm willing to admit that out of stupidity on my part I was once beaten by a pretty well done.... dun Dun DUN! Honda Civic. I know.... Still kicking myself over that one. Most recently though I got my a$$ handed to me by a girl in one of those new Pontiac G8 GXP's. That hurt a lot too!

Lets here everyone elses loses!

Haven't raced yet. It was scheduled and then we cancelled it. That reminds me. I need to call him. Trust me if I'm willing to admit I got beat by a Civic then getting beaten by a Cobalt SS would be an easier blow to take.

E55

I've been beaten by two E55's. One was actually so close that it wasn't a clear win, but he could pull on me slightly at under 100. Above 120 it seemed I was slowly reeling him in, but we ran out of road. As he's an aquaintance we talked after and he was extremely impressed with my cars ability to stay so close. I personally feel the SRT8 would have liked to have him from a 100 roll!!!

The other was a clear 3 length winner from 20-120. I don't think I would have caught him. But he was obviously modded.

I pick my battles, and have yet to be beat. I had a guy in a pickup truck being a total pain in the ass this morning though, but I had him the whole time. He just couldn't stand to have a car in front of him I think...
I know what I can take and what I can't...I generally don't race much anyway.

Is the attendant available to speak with??

I don't street race, period. To me, it's not worth the seen and unforeseen consequenes. I save it for the track. When challenged on any type of road, I just smile and then ignore it.

Depends how loud you yell for me. Traffic isn't as big of an issue and so I don't worry as much. I don't race in traffic. The local drag strip doesn't open the doors up for the public to race till 10pm and I'm usually an hr into la la land. So I'm evil and periodically will do some racing on the road.

I pick my battles too. I dont do it often but when i do i dont go up against anything i think has a better power to weight ratio then me. We may have 340-425 hp stock but that power needs to move a tank.

Modded right anything could beat anything. Ive seen video of a Smart car, yes a Smart car smoking a Ferrari 360 (i believe it was a 360) in a drag race. Imagine how bad the owner of that ferrari must feel. Bet that race resulted in him being dependant on viagra for the rest of his life.

However, the smart car has a hayabusa engine in it.

You're evil alright. Rambit is trying to influence you. But, I won't twak you this time even though I'm totally opposed to street racing.

Oh no I'm not! He's a big boy and can make his own stupid choices in life without my help or influence. Remember how we used to laugh about scaring little old ladies on the road and make them toss their groceries to get out of the way? Why even Linda was known to chuckle over that.

I say give him the :twak: 'ing he so rightfully deserves. This is equal opportunity here ya know and what's good for the goose is good for the Hemi Addict.

Why you lil benadict arnold! so quick to throw me under a bus at the possible threat of being :twak: shame on you. And I've never tried or wanted to scare lil old ladies either. I deserve no such :twak: from bruno on this one.

I have only raced a older grand am and that was no contest. I imagine when I hit the track this spring, I will have some defeat stories.
