What is needed to add an amp and some subs?? i have a converter already i dont know if that will work.

-a converter (like you mentioned) to convert the signal to RCAs
-a mini fuse tap to get the remote turn on for the amp
-just all your normal stuff: ground wire, battery wire, remote turn on wire, tools, etc, etc, etc

the c2r-chy is overkill for just an amp and subs. you didn't mention if
you have 6 or 8 speakers. If it's the 6 speaker system, just connect
your LOC to the rear speakers to get a signal for your amp.

Use the fuse tap on fuse 35 in the fuse box in the trunk for the remote
signal.

now if you are planning a total system redo where you want to run
your own main speakers, the c2r-chy would be perfect. You don't have
to tap fuse 35 because a remote turn on is provided with the c2r.
