Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, buy my car on November 26th
A 300 touring 2007 V6 3.5; The truth is that I am very happy with the car is great very comfortable, now my problem was that I did a service of spark plugs, oil filters. All new, then the guys from the autozone sold me an oil 5w50 the car got 74 miles with that kind of oil made me noise on the pointers and the divers. Tic tic tic. A horrible noise. Until I realized that at the top of the engine has marked 10w30, then get to go and buy a 10w30 oil, even so the noise persists. Do you think you need a thicker oil? Maybe a 20w50? Or 15w50?
Thanks, I wait for your answers.

Go with what is on the cap.

I can't get it in the UK so use 5w30.

It takes a while to get old oil out especially something as thick as the 50. If it is lifters noise Google Chrysler 3.5 HO rocker arm tick. It may be the issue.

If the noise is still there with the recommended oil, then I would do as Gazza487 suggests, and google Chrysler HO rocker arm tick. (and get your wallet out out)
