Well, if your info is accurate, I've got the first built SRT8. Maybe that day was luckier than I realized!!ResumeSpeed said:It just so happens I've been working on documenting the 2005 SRT build numbers and related information. JMatt is correct in stating that the information is hard to come by, but where there is a will there is a way. With a little "inside" help as well as some other sources and message boards etc., I have come up with the following information to date:
2005 300C SRT-8 production information
Estimated total built, USA & Canada: 225 (+44 for DC exec's?)
Estimated total built, Canada: 35
Build dates I have confirmed: February 15th 2005 through March 21st, 2005
Total units I have confirmed to date: 150 USA + 35 Canada= 185 (102 Black / 83 Silver)
VIN # of first built: 2C3AA73WX5H627497
(Born Feb. 15th, Hour 0. Delivered to GA buyer circa 4/11/05)
I am also working on the exact build order of all that were made, from first to last as well as any other information I can gather.

I just called DCX and they confirmed that the car shipped on 3/22 and was delivered to my dealer on 4/11. Hopefully, the factory was going through it with a fine-tooth-comb to make sure everything was built to specs.srt42 said:I wonder where it was for 2 months prior to supposedly showing up at the dealership the day I bought it.
How many miles are on it? I ran into some guy a couple of weeks ago who wanted to look at my car. Said he was a trucker that picked up the SRT8's from Brampton. He told me he and other drivers used to "race" them just before loading them up. Pissed me off when I heard that one.srt42 said:I just called DCX and they confirmed that the car shipped on 3/22 and was delivered to my dealer on 4/11.
