Found this posted on Bramptonassembly.com, the website where the employees who build the car post there views/complaints. General consensus is most of them would like to own one, a good sign.

If we are lucky, the cop version sure to come will have a Magnum front end as this one does. Then the C will remain exclusive styling wise.

Please tell me that this is some kind of sick joke and that neither the 300 and or the magnum will be turned into the next poo-poo mobile. This is not a good thing, what next the 300/magnum becoming a taxi :(

The top pic of the cop car is a photoshop rendission :) I've seen another photoshop of the "enforcer" mod and it looks great. The taxi cab thing... eh. There are people out there who own their own cabs, and work for a large company. This guy could be an enthusiast... who knows. And so what if they get popular? It's all Chrysler publicity. I'd rather see Chrysler do well as a company and make money, allowing them to afford to produce cars for the enthusiast. The Crossfire is a great example. It's not a huge volume seller, and while doing pretty well, with people liking it, it's not going to save the company. The 300 on the other hand is exactly with the company needs. A way to make money to keep producing great cars.

And you can be sure you won't see fleets of 300C's or SRT-8's for one simple reason. Money. What company would want to buy 100 300C's at 30k each (assuming discount) at 3 million bucks when they could buy 100 300 tourings at 22k (or less considering how many are going to be made) for only 2.2 million. They replace those cars so often they won't spend the extra money for tons of them.

Police departments nearly ALWAYS order the most powerful version of the model they want, so the Hemi would be natural. It will probably have a sedan body with a Magnum front end, and a Dodge nameplate. Maybe Polara? I don't think many people will confuse it with the 300 because it won't look the same. But look at some of the "buzz" on police and other sites, and you will see it's coming.

I just don't get it. How is DCX 'whoring' anything by selling cars to the law enforcement?? Dodge used to be THE police car. You couldn't really run from them. I think it's awesome that DCX may be getting their turf back. Shame on you for not wanting them to do good and make money, simply because there may be another car out on the road that looks similar to yours. Be innovative... Put some custome wheels on the car, tint the windows, add a kickin stereo system. If you want to be that different, find a way to make your car yours. As someone looking to get into law enforcement, and having good friends as police officers, i think it's great. The Ford's are safety hazards right now with rear-end collisions, and I'd really like to see something safer.
