I see this from time to time on 300's, but can't find any specifics of what particular model and year had these, or if it was multiple years.

Anyone know the story there?

Yeah LOL, you go to AutoZone and buy a package of them and stick them on your car.

Buick pioneered the ACTUAL porthole design way back when.

Portholes! That’s the word I was thinking of, thank you. And now that you mention it, I totally remember how Buick has integrated this into their design.

I had no idea the one’s I’ve seen on 300s are stickers, ha. I suppose that makes a bit of sense, because while I dig my 300, they tend to attract a lot of tacky buyers who go overboard with cheap aftermarket stuff.
