I went to the F1 race this weekend where only 6 cars raced and 14 parked after the parade lap because Michelin could not guarantee the safety of the tires- more on that in the off topic.

The entire trip I was vexed with steering wheel kick on bumps and the rear end stepping out on bumpy curves and even going straight if hitting a pothole. This is becomming more annoying to the point of feeling somewhat uncomfortable. We have discussed several times "it's those self seal Contis". I was going to wait until I wore them down but I can't. I will stay with the stock rim and go for the BFG KDW.
Opinions please, comments from those on these or other brands? How is your steering wheel and rear end. I hate to drop 6 bills and have the same problem.

We are with you KingII and look forward to hearing about your new wheels. I can't say I am getting wheel kick or step-out, but I know my ride is rough and I feel like a pin-ball as I get tossed around when driving over road imperfections/bumps. I got my tires down to 29lbs which helped somewhat, but not enough to my liking. Never felt out of control. Just don't like the bumpiness and road drift on the freeway.

So, here is the latest update. I finally decided to swallow the kool-aid and buy the BFGs. My Contis are all worn out and hydroplaning a lot. We, now they're back ordered. Aint that the way? An epic search for a tire I'm not sure I want and I can't even get it. I'm about ready to trade in my 300C just because I can't find decent tires. IIKings, you had any luck?

I have 9K but really noticed itAT 4-5k I think, now that you mention it. It seems to have been there from day one but upon further review I don't recall when.

edit. My first complaint on this was 9/04, I picked it up 6/26 so prolly 1500 miles.
