I've had 10 of the stock lug nuts outer casing spin at 2 different places in the past 6 months so it's definitely time to invest in some decent solid lug nuts.

I have done some research on what size lug nuts my stock 2006 5.7L Hemi are and would like to confirm if they are as follows:

14mm 1.5 Thread
21mm Hex/Spanner

One thing I cannot find is how tall they are! Does anyone know?

Also please post links to and recommendations you have. I don't feel the need to get a locking system, they seem to be more trouble than they are worth with stock rims.

You need to use a 6 sided socket on the factory nuts, I've replaced plenty that have been damaged by people using the wrong socket on them, stupid design really.

I tried a 21mm socket on my stock lugs but it would not fit (2014 JV 300C). Had to use the flimsy spare tire lug wrench, which does not say what size it is anywhere on it. Would like to get a better wrench for the road.

Does anyone know what size socket is required for the factory lugs?

Thanks.
