I ahve 2 12s that are facing the rear of the car away from the driver. I am getting a hole cut through my seats behind the arm rest today and was wondering if the subs would be louder if they were just facing me? Any suggestions?

In most sedans you get more volume facing rearwards than forwards. But you should always try reversing the polarity of the subs at the amp for best sound once in place. Easy test, sometimes makes a big diff, sometimes no diff at all.
