What is the widest tire that will fit on stock rims on 2012 300 SRT. I would like to run 255-45-20 front and 275-40-20 on rear. Do you think they will fit and not stick outside wheel wells. Thanks for help.

You can run a 275 tire size in the rear with no problem. However, running a 255/45/20 is 29.03 in diameter and 275/40/20 is 28.66 diameter. Think you will be fine with that setup.

275 front /315 rear will work with stock tires. The 315 rear may not work on the rear if you go with an aftermarket wheel with a different offset.

I run a 245/45 front and 275/40 rear set up right now and like the way the car handles with that stagger.

^^^I ran the same for years and through two different brands of tires. It works great and gives the car a nice look.

BUT... just put on a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports and DAMN! These are some sticky rubber. Absolutely amazing, quiet, smooth riding, and a 30k mile warranty to boot.

Running 275/35/20 and loving every minute...

Dude, it depends what look your going for, are you going for a Fast Hod Rod look, then go with 275/315 rear.. Same diameter as stock
are you just wanting to change tires just to change tires, then go with 245/275 (Maddog).. Either way, your speedometer will stay the same..

Here is mine on 275/315 and I have a small spacer in the rear...

I am curious maybe the question has been answered so apology I had a 2010 Challenger SRT8 with OEM Staggered 245 45 F / 255 45 R not real sure what that accomplished not much of a size difference but could not really rotate that set up. I was able to put the 255 45 on the Front so both same sized and made rotation possible. Question I have and sorry if that has been answered above - seems the 255 45s for sure work on the rear but will they also work on the front for a 2011 - 2013 300SRT8 or does anyone have 255 45s on the front? Thanks and apology if duplicating

You really fit 315s on the stock 20x9 tire? Can you post a shot from the back.
I'm thinking 285 myself but I've got to see that from the back

I ran 255/45 x 20 all round on my 2010 300c without any issues the wheels were 20x 9 Challenger SRT reproductions and loved them, with a 20+ off set

I'm running 275's on the back and stock 245's up front. I personally would not go wider than the 275 on the stock rims.

^^^and the reason for that is that there is a max recommended size for a nine inch rim. BINGO -it's 275.

A larger tire may or may not fit. Tire sizing varies by mfgr, more than you think. Plus if it bows at all you could have a dangerous setup.

I had 315/35/20 on Magnum SRT Rims(20x9) rears, they bow slightly which wasn't too radical that I thought they purposed a danger. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it any more.

Old thread back from the dead.

I have a '12 300 SRT&.

What I see here is you guys are putting 275/40/20 on the front and 315/40/20 in the back using a small spacer on the back only?

Do the 315's look like they're bulging out a little too much sides? God knows the 6.4 needs the 315's in the back.

just confirming before I do this, I don't want tires that Rub at all or look like a teenager stuffed too big of tires on rice.

Thank you
