I got out my dremel this weekend and shaved down my stock front license plate bracket the dealer put so wonderfully high on the front (I still do not understand why they mount them covering part of the grill). I messed up a little bit when shaving down a side, but you can barely notice it. I plan on painting it BB to match my C eventually, but my main concern before I put it back on is if I can put a chrome "300C" license plate frame on the bracket?

I'm going to purchase the frame from ebay, but wanted to know before I bought 2 of them if this could be done.
Stan (aka Lik2Race, aka Southern Heat, aka Bad Toyz Inc, lol) I recall seeing a picture of your front license plate in which you lowered, but with the chrome frame around it. Did you just put the plate frame in the stock plastic bracket, or did you go about it another way?

Here's mine. Had to put a little bit of "goop", a silicone type of adhesive, at the top edge of the chrome plate so it doesn't pull forward on the top. Someday I'll be turning it around so the bolts will be on top.

To answer your question, no. The edges of the bracket and the chrome plate lands on top of each other.

I had a Custom frame made online;
Inserted Stainless Steel Plate w/ HEMI in gold.
I removed the stock bracket completly,
moved my new Frame and plate lower,
screwed it to the bumper
