i have a stock '07 300 Touring. im looking to drop it 1.5" and put 22's on it. i read up a lil bit on the warranty voids on this site and nothing told me yes or no. I dont mind if it voids suspension related stuff, im just worried if i put the kit on and have a massive engine or electrical problem, it wont be covered since i modified the suspension. if anyone has an answer or any insight on this please let me know. Thanks.

The dealer can only legally void the warranty on parts that are directly affected by the modification. For example, if you drop the car, and have ball joint issues (unlikely) the dealer MAY not honor the warranty on those items. If you put a cam in the engine, and start to develop engine trouble, the dealer MAY not honor your powertrain warranty. I know alot of people that had trouble with their jeeps to this effect. If one dealer tries to screw you because of a mod, take it to another.

also, the burden of proof is on the dealership to prove that your modification caused the failure of the component should one occur.
