The front driver-side window goes up and down, however the auto-up is not working. Auto-down on the same window works fine.

In searching historical posts I found windows that did not work altogether and and new regulators corrected the issue. This is diff though-

Anyone experience this?

Has your battery been disconected? There's been some issues, you are right. Try holding the button all the way down, until the window goes all the way down. Then hold the button all-the way up, while the window goes all the way up. See what happens.

You need to keep holding the button up for 3 seconds after it is all the way up, this re-programs the auto up switch- it will work. It is also listed in the car's manual as aprocedure when battery is disconnected.

Thanks, will try tonight... I did have the car in the shop to replace the control module for the AC unit (went dead at 80mls), I guess they must have disconnected the battery then?

This seems to happen to me about once a month. I have to do the window up/down programming to get it to work again. Never had the battery disconnected or lost power. Just seems to be another one of the random gremlins.

One correction.......you need to hold it up for 2 seconds when it is all the way up then immediatley hold the button down all the way until it is fullt down, make sure you hold the button down all the way down past the second click.
