Has anyone used the red and yellow (Acc & Batt) wires from the C2R-CHY by PAC to power a Nav with DVD aftermarket unit? The whole thing is supposed to be plug & play, but my Kenwood DNX-7120 has thicker wires and the ones coming off the PAC unit are so thin. Will they pass enough amps for my new radio? What are the alternatives?

Probably a good question to ask the PAC support? I don't think there would be any problems with it. I remember having a previous generation Alpine
radio that required 10 guage power connections and had warnings about
it, but it worked with regular harness adapters as well.

I didn't see such warnings in the installation manual for your kenwood.

could i grab the cigarette lighter wire, would it work better?
probably not. There are 2 feeds in the stock harness (2 pos and 2 negs). The PAC must be taking these into account. I checked into it and PAC
seems to have your particular radio listed, therefore I doubt there
would be a problem.

You could use the cigarette lighter if you planned on not using any
harness, but I'd just as soon use the plug-and-play method.
