I am finally done with my install of my Kenwood DNX-7120 and Infinity 475A amp. I put the Infinity Kappa 6.5" component set in the doors. My problem now is how to get those damn wire boots back on the white plastic. I tried for over an hour and couldn't get them to go back on. I dont want rain water following the wires into the door or behind the dash. Please, any suggestions?

Dude I had the SAME problem after installing my lambo doors..

I tried for hours with my dad to try and get the boot around the plastic back into the car.

It's impossible.. Mine still isn't in... just taped for now until I go over to the dealer and see if they can put it back in..

The question is whether anyone has successfully done this. I used the stock
leads because of not wanting to have to tackle this.

maybe HEMI4ME? managed to get his back on?

its EASY! The edge that needs to go over the boot just needs to be turned inside out (fold it back on itself - only about 1/2"). Butt it up against the white clip and then roll the boot back over onto the clip, pressing around the outsides until it seats firmly in place. Get the technique right and itll pop right on - take no more than a couple of minutes each side.
