Seems to me the biggest problem will be the "movie-star" effect - large crowds gathering everytime you open the doors. Don't know if you will have to sign autographs, but it'll be "300C-hell" I tell ya'. :p
Yes, you do have a choice, but I rarely choose the "normal" way. Because of my shops, I like the attention. I've already sold a big Lambo/audio job while dropping my kids off at the movies.
wes - so u have a choice with the either your weld on kit or any bolt on kit, you still have a choice?

So if you open the door the normal way, how big does it open and do you have to keep pressure on the door (when it's opened) from sliding up?
im still wondering, if i buy the bolt on lambo kit, do i have a choice to open the door normally or lambo style... and also, whats the difference between lambo, vertical and decah? vertical i think is straight up, and i think decah is like vertical only on like an angle and not straight up, Correct?

When we install one, we ask our customer how much pressure they want for the up-swing. Then, we install the correct pressurized shocks for the task.
Check out
www.lsd-doors.com
they have a well engineered bolt on solution for the 300
that opens the doors horizontally up to 30 degrees
My magnum is LSD equipped and i never have to raise them up if i don't want to , there's really that much room to get in

Thanks
Hi LSD,
I checked out the site but think the doors looked not as stable as other lambo kits I've seen. Please tell me why that might be. I'm seriously looking to purchase something that offers easy access and sturdyness.
after you put the bolt on door kit, is it pretty feasible to put it back to factory with the the factory hinges and everything if you were to trade it in or get something else?
turbo from what i've heard on here, the best kit seems to be Wes' because it is welded in and has the most entrance room... so you get sturdy and easy to get into...
Hey guys..Iam located in New Mexico..and would be intrested in Wes lambo kit..but I can't get a hold of him..if I buy 1 what's the best way to install it?weld does it bolt on.??how much shipped
the bolt on kit is no where as sturdy as a weld on kit
to answer your? the shop that puts the kit on determines how far it will open the door will only open as far as the fender will allow it the hindges have ajustment to let it open wider or not so wide check out some of the pics of the cars we have done and you can see the adustment in the hindges with the allen head screws
I use the LSD bolt on Kit and they open enough to get in without raising. Most people I know that have them are very happy with the Quality and especially the Mod shops that I know. Doing a lot of research on the Lambo's before pulling the trigger brought me to LSD. :Eyecrazy:
So where is the best place online to get an LSD door kit? So far with shipping Im looking at $2000 at best.
Where did you guys get em and where is the cheapest :) I gotta order them before the snow melts
