Anyone install the Mopar Super Track Pack Performance Suspension?

Edit: I wound up installing the Eibach Pro Kit as the Mopar kit was back ordered and the delivery date kept getting pushed back. Before and after pics on page 2.

Hi all, I just bought a 2015 300S Hemi and I'm looking to get a little less body roll and a little lower ride height. I'm coming from a Ford Lightning pickup that I had lowered 6 inches and while it looked and handled great it was a pain having to avoid steep entrances and the front bumper on it would scrape on parking stops.

So for my 300S I'm thinking that the half inch drop advertised for the super track pack suspension shocks and springs kit would be perfect. I can't post links yet but it's Mopar part# P5155435AD if you want to Google it and check it out.

If anyone has this on their 300:

How does it handle?

Are the Billsteins on it the 'HD' models?

Does it look a little lower or is a half inch not enough to make a visible difference?

Do you have issues with parking garages or steep driveways?

Do you scrape over tall speed bumps?

Thanks everyone :beerchug:

Thanks for all the info. I am trying to decide what to do next. I appreciate the honest review of it. Was the pro kit just springs or was it shocks and everything? I just bought the Eibach Anti-roll sway bars and got the front on but the rear I have no clue and may have to pay someone. Fitting that in there looks impossible. I do like the drop the kit gave you. Thats mainly what I am looking for, trying to get rid of some of the wheel gap. And I have to give some kudos to the color of your car. I've never been a big fan of red but seeing it on something as large as our luxury barges makes for a real nice presence. Thanks again for all the information.

Summit missed their May 8th shipping date on the Mopar STP kit then pushed it back to May 24th. I had to cancel, I was sick of waiting for back ordered parts. No one else has this kit in stock either so I wound up buying the Eibach Pro Kit. I installed it this past weekend with a friend. We also installed the front and rear Whiteline sway bars.

The front installation was the same as any other car we've ever lowered, aside from the sway bar end links which you have to hold a flat at the end of the threaded section in order to back off the nut. The Moog end links I used on the new sway bar have a nut welded on the inside position that you can hold instead, much better design.

The rear suspension installation was easy enough but the rear sway bar sucked, as I'm sure most of you know by now. We dropped the suspension cradle, removed the brake line brackets, and just barely managed to pull the stock sway bar out and get the Whiteline sway installed. I mean it scraped the cradle all the way in and all the way out something fierce. It was all we could do to get them through the gap. In order to really have enough room, you'd need to lower the rear section of the exhaust and possibly remove the rear calipers and hang them up out of the way.

We did leave out the rear upper coil isolators, as it was 4am and we were desperately trying to get the car back together and they didn't want to go back in over the 'cone' shaped thing on the underside of the chassis. I'd also read that the Eibach Pro Kit had a bit of rake with all the isolators installed and I wanted it to be level so I figured, why not leave it out? We should have put it back in.

Driving impressions:

I have 10.5in rear wheels and 305/35/20 rear tires. I don't know why this didn't occur to me, I'll blame it on the late hour haha, but yeah the rear tires rub on the fender lip pretty badly with a rear seat passenger. They also rub (just barely) when it's just me in the car and I hit a big bump or dip. I've stopped driving the car for now until I can get back to my friend's garage to put the rear isolators back in and roll the rear fenders (I bought a fender roller and a heat gun, should be here tomorrow).

In the short amount of time I drove it around, there's a little less lean in corners (not the dramatic improvement I was hoping for), the rear is a little bouncy with a passenger, and when you hit a bump in the road it jars the front end. I really like the way it looks and I'll give it time for me to get some deeper impressions where I'm not constantly worried about it rubbing the tires (I've only gone maybe 5mi on it so far before parking it), but I have to say my initial impression so far is not that great as far as ride quality and performance. I will say it's not so low that it scrapes speed bumps, parking garage ramps, or driveways. That's definitely a relief.

For what it's worth, I've had a TON of vehicles, everything from a Turbo Supra, a Ford Lightning with a 6in drop, to a slammed Focus of all things, they've all been lowered and had aftermarket sway bars installed, although never Eibach or Whiteline parts, and this is the first time I've not been completely blown away by an immediate go-kart like improvement in driving feel after the install. Granted, the 300 is a big heavy car with a V8, it's longer than my previous cars etc, I realize all this, but just for everyone that may stumble across this thread from Google or wherever in the future - you will not make this car feel like a sporty car with a Pro Kit and some sway bars.

It does look super good lowered on some wide wheels though!

Any update on getting this installed? Very curious about the end result. Thanks.

Any updates to this? I have a 2015 300S V6 and would like an upgraded suspension. I was also considering STP or Mopar lowering springs. I just want a more sportier look....if the STP gives it a more noticeable drop plus handling to boot, I’m all in!

I'll take pics for sure. I'm really excited about having the Bilstein shocks from this kit, should make for a nice upgrade over stock and I agree, better than just using the mopar 1" springs. Although it wouldn't be too hard to add these shocks to the mopar springs for a custom setup.

Thanks. I went ahead and ordered a Whiteline front sway bar and the Mopar STP suspension kit. I've had Whiteline end links in the past and their stuff is super high quality so I'm looking forward to the sway bar. Considered getting the rear sway too but I want to see how it feels with just the front bar and the new suspension kit first. If I can avoid the rear bar install it will save my mechanic friend a headache ::laugh::

I'll take pics before and after the suspension goes in and will come back and give my impressions of the ride quality etc.

I would think that, if your goal is to remove body roll, stiffer swaybars would be what you are looking for.

The 1/2" drop with the MOPAR kit would be noticeable but you won't have the same problems as some, like me, who have used adjustable coilovers or a 1" - 1.5" drop.

My 1st Gen SRT is quite a bit lower than stock (1.95" F / 1.75" R) and I do have to watch for steep driveways, speed bumps and big dips in the road.

Good luck with your suspension mods.
