Memory seat settings not keeping

Ever since I got my car I have noticed my memory settings never hold on just the seat. Every other day I have to slightly readjust the seats incline or forward position. I get it to where I want, store it to memory, relink the FOB & after a day or 2 it doesn't go back to the exact spot & I have to readjust it. The mirrors go back fine & the height of the seats doesn't change.
This happen to anyone else?
I tried storing them in mem2 & the same thing happens.

The memory seats that have the glide to enter/exit feature are supposed to be able
to move 2.125 inches backwards when you start the car, or the key is removed.

If you are tall, and you have your seat too far back for more leg room, the sliding
feature will not work for you if the seat can't move that 2.125 inches back.

I have the same problem you do from time to time. I am 6 feet tall, and I have my
seat set right around that magic number where it will glide back for awhile, and then
stop working.

No power memory seat, or any other power memory item for that matter, will always go
back to EXACTLY the same spot every single time.

Over time, it moves a smidge out of where you have it set, and all those smidges start to
add up to the point where your memory seat, or mirrors, or whatever are no longer in
the spot you want them.

You are going to have to adjust your seat so that you have at least 2.125 inches
for it to be able to move backwards, or its just not going to work. Your owners
manual actually goes into detail about this.

Now, if your on the shorter side, and you do not have the seat almost all the
way back for leg room, then you have a mechanical problem, which will
require an actual replacement of the seat electronics.

But I bet it stops working because you have it set too far back.

It's not too far back. The seat does move on exit. And sometimes the seat is all the way back when it looses the position from where I set it. Requiring me to move the seat up & re set the memory again. And then the seat back incline also changes.
No power memory seat, or any other power memory item for that matter, will always go

My 3 Acura's did...
It's done it for the 2 years that I had this car. I will try disabling the exit feature & see what happens.

From the end of the seat travel (towards the rear of the car) to 30mm forward the Easy Exit feature will not function. Therefore, if the seat is sitting at 25mm from the rearward end of travel the seat will not reverse. In addition, if the seat is sitting at 55mm from the rearward end of travel, the seat will reverse to the 30mm from end of travel and stop. Therefore, the seat only moved 25mm, much less than the 2.125 inches or 55mm as stated in the owners manual. In order for the seat to move 55mm the starting point of the seat should be at least 85mm from the end of travel.

Feature can be turned on and off manually
1. Press and hold the Set (S) button.
2. Move the horizontal seat switch rearward.
3. Release the Set (S) button and the horizontal seat switch.

I understand that. Doesn't explain how it looses the mem setting though. If the memory is set past the exit glide distance closer to the steering wheel it should return to that position whether the seat is back all the way or forward all the way.

I disabled the exit feature yesterday on my way home. I'll give it a few days & report back.
