Im not sure this is the right place to post so forgive me if it aint
I own a 2005 hemi and have some strange sounds coming from the the rear end or tires when im accelerating from a complete stop.
Its a grinding sound or a heavy rubbing sound that only occurs when the cars stands completly still and i accelerate hard.
When i just "go with the flow" there is no sound, only when pressing the pedal deep and acceleration harder then "normal" the sound is present. Also, when the car has just little speed, like 2 miles or so, and i accellerate, there is no rubbing or grinding sound...Only when launching from a stop...
Im not lowered but I do have the "22's. Could it be that the tires hit the fenders or something?
Im kinda scared now to do any hard accelerations from a stoplight as I do not want to damage anything.
Anyone has this problem?
Thanx guys!
