You need to clean the sensors on the rear bumper, they are covered in muck from the road.

 

really - it was washed 2 days ago and is way cleaner than it's been for the last 3 weeks. How odd - does this really mean clean them (or maybe faulty)

 

it usually means to clean them...if you have snow, mud, or ice on it

Might want to check fuse #29 (15 amp) in the boot as you call it assuming they're the same as US models. Could be it's not fully seated.

Mine done it when it was knocked out of the bumper by a Mazda 323. I pushed it back in to the bumper and the warning stopped even though the car was written off.

 

It's the snow and ice. Mine do the same when it snows.

 

Mine does it when I have the bike rack on the back of the car.

Either clean the back of the car or turn the sensors off

 

I had the same problem these days. One of the sensors was covered by snow. Cleaning it solved the problem!

 

Yes, I had it with snow & ice too.

 

Mines the same when frozen, it will work again when the ice melts
