if you have the DPF removed you also need the DPF delete from the ECU,take all the cats off too while your at it...diesels don't need them and you'll gain a bit of power back that they suck from the engine

 

Not sure if the mil light would come on, or put you in limp mode

 

it will put light and will go to limp mode

 

I would have a pipe made to replace it with as I am pretty certain the mil light and limp mode will come on, at least then you could put the dpf back on until you get the ecu mapped.

 

Aahh right I thought that wasn't right I couldn't work out Why it would be different

Umm I wonder what a used DPF filter is worth, if the gauage keeps it ???
