Hopefully I'm posting in the correct place.
P128 Thermostat, easy enough I think.
P850 Neutral Safty Switch Position, I replaced the pink thingy with a BT replacement, It's slow to shift into drive. Does anyone know, or can anyone tell me how to recalibrate or adjust shifter cable to rectify?
U103, lost communication with electronic shifter. Again, is this due to the P850?
I also have the leaking rear end.

Update, today I drove it to the store and it shifted flawlessly. I probably won't go anywhere else today (It's cold here in North Carolina, well cold for here) but will be taking it to work tomorrow. Maybe, just maybe the shifter/neutral safety switch errors will clear.

Had you installed a 180*F or lower t-stat? If not you probably have a leaking t-stat due to its rubber seal failing. It was a popular failure with '05s allowing coolant to flow before attaining normal operating temperature and keeping overall coolant temperature low thus extending the warmup time beyond what is expected.

Had you disconnected the battery to do the "pink thingy" changeout? If so all of the electronics are probably just relearning and all will be well after 3 or 4 normal runs. Just keep an eye on the check engine light for a few runs. It will probably clear itself.

ATTABOY!
I had to redo mine once so as to be able to remove the key. Subsequently I figured out how to release the cable without pulling the coupler apart.

How'bout the the P0128 code, and the others? All gone?

If the P0128 code has cleared and the check engine light has extinguished you may get a chance to see it all over again in the next few days because more cold, real cold, is on the way!

Any final dispositions on the issues?
