Don't believe they added that to the software until to 07 model year. Wish it was on mine also, along with the MDS display.

Anyone know if dealers can upgrade software to show these?

 

It's going in tomorrow for a "track rod end" replacement - so I shall be asking then.

I think the 0-60 timer is only on vehicles with an April 06 onward EVIC, mine missed out by a few days!

AFAIK it cannot be upgraded without swapping the entire assembly out.

Hi Gar. Press the music note button ( left side of steering wheel) and the 'N' button (right side) simultaneously for about 10 secs or so. The small central display will change just scroll through using the left hand up down and right arrow buttons and see what you find.

I dont think that they can update the EVIC,its been talked about on other American posts and threads.Also according to the yanks its not that accurate.Get yer mate with a digital stopwatch in the passenger seat and do it,I mean it should only take 6-7 seconds(unless you have the hemi,then its between 5-6 secs).dont forget to keep your foot buried past 60mph,dont let off cos the buggars slow down quick too,oh of course you'll do it off a public road,wont you.Or take it down the "POD".I'll see you there from March onwards

Hey Derrick!

I did the music button and N thing and it brought-up the central display. However, I couldn't find any 0-60 Timer. Lots of other info, like: CCN Software Info; 2/01/06 v. 4.11; pn 04843155AH; Spd = 0; RPM; Eng. Temp =; Batt =, compass info, etc, etc. I guess this means I don't have the 0-60 Timer? What do you or anyone alse think?

Mine is a May 06 built date, the 0 to 60 read out started in July of 06. These builds are the first 07. O7 was the year the started the 0 to 60 readings. I know this sux but thats the way it is. I hope this info helps you guys out.

Appreciate all your help! I guess the 02/01/06 was my build date and from all that you have said it would mean mine doesn't have the Timer. Oh well, what's a mother to do.

Mine is a 07/07/2006 build date and sorry to say it lacks the 0-60 timer. Hemi Touring bought i Stockholm sept 2006.
Seems like I must have bought the last one without this option.

Hi guys not 100% sure about this but can you get someone with a diagnostic machine and upload a new version.
I'm just saying this because a friend of mine has a garage and he recently bought one of these machines that diagnose the car for faults etc..... can even give you the codes for coded keys etc. but it can also update existing car programming. As I say I may be wrong maybe someone can enlighten me.

Does he has a starscan or starmobile ? If yes, then it can do the upgrade. He needs the correct cable and the firmware file .... I'll be interested to play a visit to your friend to do some debugs on the car bus ....

 

I will check tommorow Florin and give you a shout, I know I had to update all the PC software etc... and we were on the site where all the new firmware was available.

you can not put 5 version software in a 4 version evic display. you can only update to the latest version for your year car,say 4.11 to 4.24.. or change the entire evic to a new version maybe from a junk yard wreck

 

My mate has the Autodiagnosis system with connection for Chrysler and when I get mine will act as Guinea Pig to see what information is collected and can be changed.

Hey guys, sorry to butt in, but, you can buy aftermarket devises that plug into your OBDII plug and give you the "correct" 0-60 times. They will do other things as well to include 1/4 mile times. I believe they run about $300 u.s. Try searching on LX Forums for it.
