Push the chrome ring down and then pull up on shifter.

 

Sodak, what do you mean by 'chrome ring'? I will post a picture of my shifter later on today for clarification.

 

See Billet Technology for what they may have for shifters. There are a ton out there on eBay as well. Just make sure you get the right one that fits a 2010 because earlier models screwed on.

 

NAG1/KNOB, Gearshift/Removal

1. Using a Trim Stick C-4755 or equivalent, separate the retaining ring and slide down the shifter shaft.
2. Using a thin wire type tool, locate and press the release while pulling up on the shifter knob.
3. Remove the shifter knob and retaining ring.

INSTALL:
1. Slide the retaining ring over the shifter shaft and slide the shifter knob onto the shaft and push down into place until fully locked.
2. Seat the retaining ring up onto the shifter knob and seat fully.
